Bright Eyes Nursery Baby Unit

Our baby unit has been decorated in restful colours’ to aid sleep and relaxation.  In our sleep room we have eight pine cots and a crib for our very young babies, all of who are constantly monitored whilst sleeping.

Our aim is to encourage the babies’ development skills, such as walking, talking and co-ordination through stimulating play and use of toys.  We will provide a structured day that can be adjusted to suit parent’s wishes and to incorporate set nap and feeding times.

We only want the best for our babies so we only supply fresh baby food for that all important stage of weaning.

A daily record sheet will be sent home with each baby, detailing all activities during the day, nappy changes and feeding times.

Next to our baby unit is our milk kitchen.

We also have a separate baby changing room and we supply Pampers or Huggies nappies and wipes all inclusive in the price.

 

 

 

 Bright Eyes Nursery Tweenie 0ne Room

This room is designed for active toddlers and has a section filled with soft play.

It is a large bright room where the children are encouraged to gain more self reliance, hence they sit at tables on chairs at meal times and are encouraged to feed themselves.

The curriculum is linked to The Early Years Foundation Stage, and the staff encourage language skills through nursery rhymes, books and story sessions.  Outdoor play is encouraged daily.

At this age we always make time for rest and sleep during the children’s busy days.

The Tweenie 1 room has its own separate kitchen and changing room.

 

 

 

 

 Bright Eyes Nursery Tweenie Two Room

Our Tweenie Two room caters for children aged 2 - 3 years and provides a caring, stimulating environment for your child to develop his/her skills in all areas.

Creativity is fostered through painting and drawing at our specially designed wet play area, where the children can also enjoy sand and water play.

The children are encouraged by our experienced staff to gain independence, which will help with their personal and social skills.

In the home corner we have an extensive book collection for the children to browse through, and also a children’s computer and printer.

Next to the Tweenie Two room we have a bathroom with safety flooring containing 2 low level toilet cubicles and a low level sink.

 

 

 

Bright Eyes Nursery Pre-school Classroom

Our Pre-school classroom has recently opened and is a purpose built area for pre-school children to learn and develop all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.  A large bright classroom, which caters comfortably for 28 children, has its own entrance, which leads into a cloakroom area.  Once inside our classroom the children have plenty of space and freedom to choose a range of activities provided by our fully qualified foundation team.  A computer section with the latest Early Years Foundation Stage software is accessible at all times, as is our book corner, home corner and wet and dry areas for all manner of arts and crafts.  Extra curriculum activities include a visits from the fire service, police and animal people.
